May is here and that means one thing, apart from spring being here (finally!), my blog just turned 2! This is super exciting for me and to celebrate, I am sharing a recipe for these finger-licking good chocolate filled buns – YUM! Passover is over too so we can use flour again and what a great way to celebrate than with some sweet buns. Oh yeah!

Now for today's recipe - Chocolate filled buns are the perfect breakfast or afternoon snack, especially as the soft dough and chocolaty filling is oh-so satisfying.
Any celebration calls for a sweet treat and chocolate is always a good idea, so buns filled with chocolate can't disappoint anyone (at least not the people I know). These chocolate-filled buns were a hit in my house and I am sure they will be in yours too. You do need to use your mixer but it will be so worth it.
The recipe doesn’t use any dairy ingredients so it is parve as I used coconut milk and coconut butter instead. If you don't care if the buns are non-dairy, you can switch back to regular milk and butter with the same proportions as the measurements call for.
For the filling, I used dark chocolate which I melted with coconut butte. However, if you are in a hurry or just prefer to, you can use any chocolate spread you like or other spreads such as jam, peanut butter, etc.
Enjoy making and eating these crazy delicious chocolate, here is the recipe:
